Terms of Service

1. The service

The Forge takes a YouTube video you submit, generates vertical short-form clips from it, scores and explains those clips using AI, and — on eligible plans — generates a written multi-platform content pack (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, email, blog, and more). It is a production tool, not a guarantee of any outcome.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or subscribe.

3. Content you submit

You are solely responsible for the videos you submit. By submitting a YouTube URL, you represent that you own the content, or hold the necessary rights and permissions to have it downloaded, clipped, and repurposed into derivative short-form content. The Forge does not verify ownership or rights before processing a video.

We are not responsible for, and disclaim all liability arising from, copyright infringement or other legal claims resulting from content you submit. You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from your use of the service to process content you did not have the right to process.

Use of YouTube as a source is also subject to YouTube's own Terms of Service, separately from ours.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Plans are sold and billed monthly through Gumroad, our payment processor and merchant of record. Gumroad handles your payment method and any applicable sales tax/VAT — we never see or store your card details.
• Your license key is generated and emailed to you by Gumroad automatically after purchase.
• You can cancel at any time from your Gumroad account; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period already paid for.
• We do not offer automatic refunds for partial subscription periods. If something's gone wrong, contact us — refund requests are handled case by case, not as a blanket policy.
• Each plan includes a monthly limit on the number of videos processed ("forges") and a maximum video length, both shown on the pricing page. We may throttle or decline requests that exceed your plan's limits.

5. AI-generated output, no guarantees

Virality scores, hook grades, platform predictions, captions, and written content are generated by an AI model and represent a prediction, not a guarantee. We do not guarantee that any clip or post will perform well, go viral, or drive any particular outcome on any platform. Review AI-generated content before publishing it — it can be wrong, out of context, or in need of editing.

6. Third-party services

Delivering this service requires sending parts of your data to third parties who process it on our behalf:

• YouTube — the source of videos you submit.
• xAI (Grok) — receives your video's transcript, title, and any brand-voice information you provide, in order to generate scores, captions, and written content.
• Gumroad — receives your billing email and payment details to process subscriptions, and generates and emails your license key. We never see or store your card number.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: submit content you don't have rights to; use the service for anything illegal; attempt to circumvent plan limits, license checks, or rate limits; or attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to the service without our written permission.

8. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, abuse of the service, or non-payment, with or without notice.

9. No warranty, limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

11. Governing law
